حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ وَشَيَّعَهَا كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَلَمْ يُشَيِّعْهَا كَانَ لَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَالْقِيرَاطُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ.
English Translation
Yazid told us, Fudayl ibn Marzuq told us, from Atiyyah al-Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever prays over a funeral and follows it will have two qirats, and whoever prays over it but does not follow it will have one qirat, and the qirat is like Uhud."
