English Translation
Abu Amir told us, Zuhayr told us, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Halhalah, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No fatigue, nor illness, nor anxiety, nor sorrow, nor grief, nor hurt befalls a Muslim — not even a thorn that pricks him — except that Allah, Mighty and Sublime, thereby expiates some of his sins."
