English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir told us, Abu Isra'il — meaning Isma'il ibn Abi Ishaq al-Mula'i — informed us, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am leaving among you the two weighty things, one of which is greater than the other: the Book of Allah, a rope extended from heaven to earth, and my kindred, the people of my household. The two will never separate until they meet me at the Pond."
