حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ كَرِيمَةَ ابْنَةِ الْحَسْحَاسِ الْمُزَنِيَّةِ أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ قَالَتْ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَنَحْنُ فِي بَيْتِ هَذِهِ يَعْنِي أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْثُرُ عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَنَا مَعَ عَبْدِي مَا ذَكَرَنِي وَتَحَرَّكَتْ بِي شَفَتَاهُ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Ishaq told us, Abdullah informed us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir informed us, Isma'il ibn Ubaydullah told us, from Karimah bint al-Hashas al-Muzaniyyah, that she told him: Abu Hurayrah told us, while we were in the house of this woman - meaning Umm al-Darda' - that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, relate from his Lord, Mighty and Sublime, that He said: "I am with My servant as long as he remembers Me and his lips move in remembrance of Me."
