قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَمِنْبَرِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَمِنْبَرِي عَلَى حَوْضِي.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'No one will enter Paradise by his deeds.' They said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Not even I, unless Allah encompasses me with His mercy. So seek to do your best and draw near (to Him). Let none of you wish for death — if he is doing good, perhaps he will increase, and if he is doing evil, perhaps he will repent.'
