حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ يَعْنِي الْفِرْيَابِيَّ بِمَكَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَذْفُ السَّلَامِ سُنَّةٌ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah the Almighty smiles at two men: one of them kills the other, and both enter Paradise. One fights in the cause of Allah and is killed. Then Allah accepts the repentance of the killer, and he fights in the cause of Allah and is martyred.'
