حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When any of you stands in prayer, he should not spit in front of him, for he is conversing with Allah the Mighty and Majestic as long as he is in his prayer place. Nor to his right, for on his right is an angel. Let him spit to his left or under his foot, then bury it.'
