حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ قَالَ وَبَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَسُوقُ بَقَرَةً فَأَعْيَا فَرَكِبَهَا فَالْتَفَتَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
English Translation
Yazid told us: Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Narrate from the Children of Israel, and there is no harm in doing so." He said: While a man was driving a cow, it grew tired, so he rode upon it, and it turned to him - and he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
