حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَثِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ.
English Translation
Ibn Numayr told us: al-Awza'i told us: Abu Kathir told us, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Wine comes from these two trees: the date-palm and the grapevine."
