حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعْرٍ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id told me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that he heard him say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "If a slave-woman of one of you commits fornication and her fornication becomes clear, let him flog her with the prescribed punishment and not reproach her for it; then if she fornicates again, let him flog her with the prescribed punishment and not reproach her for it; then if she fornicates a third time and it becomes clear, let him sell her, even for a rope of hair."
