حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَنَسِيَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَطْعَمَهُ وَسَقَاهُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: 'Awf told us, from al-Hasan, who said: It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If one of you is fasting and forgets, and eats and drinks, let him complete his fast, for indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has fed him and given him drink." Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: 'Awf told us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similar to that.
