English Translation

Abu Hurayrah said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you retires to his bed, let him take the inner part of his lower garment and dust his bed with it, saying the name of Allah, for he does not know what came onto his bed after him. When he wants to lie down, let him lie on his right side and say: "Glory be to You, my Lord, by You (or: in Your name) I lay down my side, and by You I raise it. If You take my soul, then forgive it. If You release it, then protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants."'
