869/1135(صحيح لغيره موقوفاً، وقد صح مرفوعاً)عن حذيفة قال:" يا عمر بن صليع! إذا رأيت قيساً توالت بالشام فالحذر الحذر، فوالله لا تدع قيس عبداً لله مؤمناً إلا أخافته، أو قتلته، والله ليأتين عليهم زمان لا يمنعون منه ذنب تلعة"(1).
English Translation
Hudhayfah said: 'O Umar ibn Sulai'! When you see the tribe of Qays rallying in Syria, beware, beware! For by Allah, Qays will not leave any believing servant of Allah without frightening or killing him. By Allah, there will come a time upon them when they cannot defend even the tail of a hill.'
