862/1125(صحيح الإسناد)عن أنس بن سيرين قال: كتبت لابن عمر، فقال: اكتب(بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم)، أما بعد: إلى فلان". وفي رواية عنه قال:"كتب رجل بين يدي ابن عمر(بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم)لفلان، فنهاه ابن عمر، وقال:"قل: بسم الله، هو له"(1).
English Translation
Anas ibn Sirin said: I was writing for Ibn Umar, and he said: 'Write: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. To proceed: To so-and-so.' In another narration: A man writing in the presence of Ibn Umar wrote 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, to so-and-so.' Ibn Umar forbade him and said: 'Say: In the name of Allah — it is for Him.'
