Arabic (Original)
201/266(صحيح)- عن بكر بن عبد الله قال:"كان أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يتبادحون بالبطيخ، فإذا كانت الحقائِق كانوا هم الرجال".
English Translation
Bakr ibn Abdullah reported: 'The Companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to throw watermelons at each other in jest. But when the serious matters came, they were the real men.'
Urdu Translation
بکر بن عبداللہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے کہا: نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے صحابہ ایک دوسرے پر(مزاح کرتے ہوئے) تربوز (کے ٹکڑے) پھینکتے تھے مگر جب حقائق کا سامنا ہوتا تھا تو پھر وہ مرد میدان ہوتے۔[صحيح الادب المفرد/حدیث: 201]
