English Translation

Abu Amr al-Shaybani reported that the owner of this house — and he pointed to the house of Abdullah — said: I asked the Prophet, peace be upon him, 'Which deed is most beloved to Allah, Mighty and Majestic?' He said, 'Prayer at its proper time.' I asked, 'Then what?' He said, 'Then kindness to parents.' He said, 'These are what he told me, and if I had asked more, he would have told me more.'
