حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ قَالَ: أَتَيْنَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ مُتَقَارِبُونَ، فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، فَظَنَّ أَنَّا اشْتَهَيْنَا أَهْلِينَا، فَسَأَلْنَا عَنْ مَنْ تَرَكْنَا فِي أَهْلِينَا؟ فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ، وَكَانَ رَفِيقًا رَحِيمًا، فَقَالَ: ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ فَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَمُرُوهُمْ، وَصَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي، فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ، فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ، وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ.
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Sulayman Malik ibn al-Huwayrith said, "We came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) being young men of a similar age. We spent twenty nights with him. He thought that we desired our own people and he asked us about those of our family we had left behind, and we told him. He was merciful and kind, and said, 'Go back to your family. Instruct and command them. Pray as you have seen me praying. When it is time for the prayer, then let one of you give the adhan and let the oldest of you lead the payer.;:
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو سلیمان مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور ہم قریب قریب عمر کے نوجوان تھے۔ ہم آپ کے پاس بیس راتیں رہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بڑے مہربان اور نرم دل تھے۔ جب آپ نے سمجھا کہ ہمیں اپنے گھر والوں کی یاد آ رہی ہے تو ارشاد فرمایا: واپس جاؤ اور اپنے گھر والوں میں رہو، انہیں سکھاؤ اور نماز پڑھو۔
