حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، - شَيْخٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، يَرْوِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ فَلاَ يَمْسَحِ الْحَصَى " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Dharr (al-Ghifari, may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said: 'When one of you stands for prayer, mercy faces him, so he should not wipe the pebbles (to level them).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوذر (غفاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں: آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز کے لیے کھڑا ہو تو رحمت اس کے سامنے ہوتی ہے — پس وہ کنکریاں نہ برابر کرے۔
