Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ فِطْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَرْفَعُ إِبْهَامَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Wa'il ibn Hujr (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: 'I saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) raising his thumbs during the prayer up to his earlobes.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت وائل بن حُجر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نماز میں اپنے انگوٹھے کانوں کی لَو تک بلند فرماتے تھے۔
