Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ - عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُسَوِّي صُفُوفَنَا إِذَا قُمْنَا لِلصَّلاَةِ فَإِذَا اسْتَوَيْنَا كَبَّرَ .
English Translation
Hadrat al-Nu'man ibn Bashir (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: 'The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to straighten our rows when we stood for prayer. When we were straight, he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would say the takbir.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہماری صفیں سیدھی فرماتے جب ہم نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے۔ جب ہم سیدھے ہو جاتے تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تکبیر فرماتے۔
