حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَإِعْفَاءُ اللِّحْيَةِ وَالسِّوَاكُ وَالاِسْتِنْشَاقُ بِالْمَاءِ وَقَصُّ الأَظْفَارِ وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبِطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَانْتِقَاصُ الْمَاءِ " . يَعْنِي الاِسْتِنْجَاءَ بِالْمَاءِ . قَالَ زَكَرِيَّا قَالَ مُصْعَبٌ وَنَسِيتُ الْعَاشِرَةَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ الْمَضْمَضَةَ .
English Translation
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Ten things are from the natural disposition (fitrah): (1) trimming the moustache, (2) letting the beard grow, (3) using the tooth-stick, (4) rinsing the nose with water, (5) clipping the nails, (6) washing the finger joints, (7) plucking the hair of the armpits, (8) shaving the hair below the navel, and (9) cleansing oneself with water (after relieving oneself).' Zakariyya said: Mus'ab stated: 'I have forgotten the tenth, unless it be rinsing the mouth.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: دس چیزیں دینِ فطرت سے ہیں: (۱) مونچھیں کتروانا، (۲) داڑھی بڑھانا، (۳) مسواک کرنا، (۴) ناک میں پانی ڈالنا، (۵) ناخن کاٹنا، (۶) انگلیوں کے جوڑ دھونا، (۷) بغل کے بال اکھیڑنا، (۸) زیرِ ناف بال صاف کرنا، (۹) پانی سے استنجاء کرنا۔ زکریا نے کہا: مصعب فرماتے ہیں: میں دسویں چیز بھول گیا، شاید کلی کرنا ہو۔
