حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ إِلاَّ حَلَّتْ لَهُ الشَّفَاعَةُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever says upon hearing the call (Adhan): "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and this prayer about to be established, grant Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) al-Wasilah (the means of nearness) and al-Fadilah (excellence), and raise him to the praiseworthy station that You have promised him" — the intercession (of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) will become his right on the Day of Judgment.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص اذان سن کر یہ دعا پڑھے: «اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ هٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ» (اے اللہ! اس کامل دعوت اور قائم ہونے والی نماز کے رب! محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو وسیلہ اور فضیلت عطا فرما اور انہیں مقامِ محمود پر فائز فرما جس کا تو نے ان سے وعدہ کیا ہے) — تو اس کے لیے قیامت کے دن (میری) شفاعت واجب ہو جائے گی۔
