حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، قَالَ حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَكَذَلِكَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ .
English Translation
Hadrat Rib'i ibn Hirash narrates: I was told that a man from the tribe of Banu Amir sought permission to enter upon the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) — then he mentioned a hadith with the same meaning. Abu Dawud said: Musaddad narrated the same to us, from Abu Awanah from Mansur from Rib'i, and he did not mention 'from a man of Banu Amir.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ربعی بن حراش فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے بتایا گیا کہ بنو عامر کے ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے اجازت مانگی — پھر اسی مفہوم کی حدیث بیان کی۔ حضرت ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں: اسی طرح ہمیں مسدد نے بیان کیا، حضرت ابوعوانہ نے منصور سے، ربعی سے، اور انہوں نے بنو عامر کے شخص سے نہیں کہا۔
