قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَبِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَمْسَى فَلْيَقُلْ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Dawud (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: With this same chain of narration, it is reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: When any of you reaches the morning, let him say: We have entered the morning and all dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this day — its victory, its help, its light, its blessing, and its guidance. And I seek refuge with You from the evil that is in it and the evil that comes after it. Then when he reaches the evening, let him say the same.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں: اسی سند سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی صبح کرے تو یہ کہے: ہم نے صبح کی اور سارا ملک اللہ رب العالمین کا ہے، اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے اس دن کی بھلائی کا سوال کرتا ہوں، اس کی فتح، اس کی نصرت، اس کا نور، اس کی برکت اور اس کی ہدایت، اور میں اس میں جو برائی ہے اس سے اور اس کے بعد جو برائی ہے اس سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ پھر جب شام کرے تو بھی اسی طرح کہے۔
