Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنِ اضْطَجَعَ مَضْجَعًا لَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى فِيهِ إِلاَّ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ تِرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ قَعَدَ مَقْعَدًا لَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهِ إِلاَّ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ تِرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Whoever lies down in a place and does not remember Allah the Exalted therein, it will be a cause of regret for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever sits in a place and does not remember Allah the Mighty and Majestic therein, it will be a cause of regret for him on the Day of Resurrection.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص کسی جگہ لیٹے اور اس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر نہ کرے تو قیامت کے دن یہ اس پر حسرت ہو گی، اور جو شخص کسی جگہ بیٹھے اور اس میں اللہ عزوجل کا ذکر نہ کرے تو قیامت کے دن یہ اس پر حسرت ہو گی۔
