Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ مُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ، يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ذَاكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that a man addressed the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying: O best of all creation! The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: That is Ibrahim (upon him be peace).
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: یا خیر البریہ (اے تمام مخلوق سے بہتر)! تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: وہ تو ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) ہیں۔
