حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ فِي مَسِيرٍ لَهُ فَنَامُوا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ فَاسْتَيْقَظُوا بِحَرِّ الشَّمْسِ فَارْتَفَعُوا قَلِيلاً حَتَّى اسْتَقَلَّتِ الشَّمْسُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ مُؤَذِّنًا فَأَذَّنَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ .
English Translation
Hadrat Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was on a journey when the people overslept and missed the Fajr prayer. They awoke due to the heat of the sun. They travelled a short distance until the sun rose high. Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) commanded the mu'adhdhin who called the adhan. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed the two rak'ahs of the Fajr sunnah before the obligatory prayer. Then the iqamah was called, and he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led them in the Fajr (obligatory) prayer.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک سفر میں تھے کہ لوگ نمازِ فجر میں سوئے رہ گئے۔ سورج کی تپش سے بیدار ہوئے تو تھوڑی دور سفر کیا حتیٰ کہ سورج بلند ہو گیا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مؤذن کو حکم دیا، اس نے اذان دی۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرض سے پہلے فجر کی دو سنتیں ادا فرمائیں، پھر اقامت کہی گئی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فجر کی (فرض) نماز ادا فرمائی۔
