حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَأَى صَبِيًّا قَدْ حُلِقَ بَعْضُ شَعْرِهِ وَتُرِكَ بَعْضُهُ فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ وَقَالَ " احْلِقُوهُ كُلَّهُ أَوِ اتْرُكُوهُ كُلَّهُ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw a child whose head was partly shaved and partly left unshaved. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade them from that and stated: Shave it all or leave it all.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک بچے کو دیکھا جس کے سر کے کچھ بال مونڈے ہوئے تھے اور کچھ چھوڑے ہوئے تھے۔ آپ نے اس سے منع فرمایا اور ارشاد فرمایا: یا تو پورا مونڈ دو یا پورا چھوڑ دو۔
