حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، وَابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمْهَلَ آلَ جَعْفَرٍ ثَلاَثًا أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُمْ فَقَالَ " لاَ تَبْكُوا عَلَى أَخِي بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " ادْعُوا لِي بَنِي أَخِي " . فَجِيءَ بِنَا كَأَنَّا أَفْرُخٌ فَقَالَ " ادْعُوا لِي الْحَلاَّقَ " . فَأَمَرَهُ فَحَلَقَ رُءُوسَنَا .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Ja'far (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gave the family of Hadrat Ja'far (al-Tayyar) (may Allah be well pleased with him) three days' respite (after his martyrdom), then came to visit them and stated: Do not weep over my brother after this day. Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: Call my nephews to me. So we were brought to his noble presence, looking like little chicks. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Call a barber for me! Then he commanded him, and he shaved our heads.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن جعفر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حضرت جعفر (طیار) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے اہلِ خانہ کو (شہادت کے بعد) تین دن کی مہلت دی، پھر ان کے پاس تشریف لائے اور ارشاد فرمایا: آج کے بعد میرے بھائی پر مت رونا۔ پھر فرمایا: میرے بھتیجوں کو میرے پاس بلاؤ۔ تو ہمیں آپ کی خدمت میں لایا گیا، ایسا لگ رہا تھا جیسے ہم چوزے ہیں۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: حجام کو بلاؤ! پھر حکم فرمایا تو اس نے ہمارے سر مونڈ دیے۔
