Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُعْجِبُهُ الذِّرَاعُ . قَالَ وَسُمَّ فِي الذِّرَاعِ وَكَانَ يَرَى أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ هُمْ سَمُّوهُ .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that the tradition mentioned above (No. 3771) has also been narrated by Hadrat Ibn Mas'ud with a different chain of narrators. This version has: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) liked the foreleg (of a sheep). Once the foreleg was poisoned, and he thought that the Jews had poisoned it
Urdu Translation
اسی سند سے حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دست کا گوشت بہت پسند تھا، ( ایک بار ) دست کے گوشت میں زہر ملا دیا گیا، آپ کا خیال تھا کہ یہودیوں نے زہر ملایا تھا۔
