Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانُوا يَتَبَايَعُونَ الطَّعَامَ جُزَافًا بِأَعْلَى السُّوقِ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى يَنْقُلُوهُ .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: People used to buy grain in bulk at the top of the market. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade them from selling it until they had moved it (to another place).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے، فرماتے ہیں: لوگ بازار کے اوپر جزاف (اندازے سے بغیر وزن) غلّہ خریدتے تھے، تو محبوبِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اُنہیں منع فرمایا کہ اُسے بیچیں جب تک (کسی اور جگہ) منتقل نہ کر لیں۔
