Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مَعْرُوفُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الْجُذَامِيُّ، أَنَّ عُلَىَّ بْنَ رَبَاحٍ اللَّخْمِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَحِلُّ ثَمَنُ الْكَلْبِ وَلاَ حُلْوَانُ الْكَاهِنِ وَلاَ مَهْرُ الْبَغِيِّ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: The price of a dog is not lawful, the payment of a soothsayer is not lawful, and the earnings of a prostitute are not lawful.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے، فرماتے ہیں: محبوبِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: کتے کی قیمت حلال نہیں، کاہن کی اُجرت حلال نہیں اور زانیہ کی کمائی حلال نہیں۔
