حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْمُتَبَايِعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَفْقَةَ خِيَارٍ وَلاَ يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَنْ يُفَارِقَ صَاحِبَهُ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَسْتَقِيلَهُ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: The buyer and the seller have the option as long as they have not separated, unless it is a transaction with the right of option agreed upon. And it is not lawful for a person to separate from his companion fearing that he might cancel the deal.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ محبوبِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: خریدار اور فروخت کنندہ کو اختیار ہے جب تک جدا نہ ہو جائیں، اِلّا یہ کہ اختیار والی بیع ہو (جس میں اختیار کی شرط طے ہو چکی ہو)۔ اور کسی کے لیے یہ جائز نہیں کہ وہ اپنے ساتھی سے اس ڈر سے جدا ہو جائے کہ وہ (سودا) واپس کر دے گا۔
