Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ " مَا لَمْ تَنَلْهُ أَخْفَافُ الإِبِلِ " يَعْنِي أَنَّ الإِبِلَ تَأْكُلُ مُنْتَهَى رُءُوسِهَا وَيُحْمَى مَا فَوْقَهُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Muhammad bin al-Hasan al-Makhzumi said: (In the hadith) 'What the hooves of the camels do not reach' means that the camels eat up to the extent of their heads (reach), and what is above that should be protected (i.e., reserved).
Urdu Translation
حضرت محمد بن حسن مخزومی نے فرمایا: (حدیث میں) 'جو اونٹوں کے کھروں تک نہ پہنچے' کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اونٹ اپنے سروں کی انتہا تک کھاتے ہیں اور جو اس سے اوپر ہو اس کی حفاظت کی جائے۔
