Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّمَا الْعُشُورُ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى وَلَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ عُشُورٌ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Harb bin 'Ubaydullah narrates from his maternal grandfather, from his father, that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'The tithes (one-tenth tax) are only upon the Jews and the Christians; there are no tithes upon the Muslims.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت حرب بن عبیداللہ اپنے نانا سے اور وہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: عُشور (دسواں حصہ ٹیکس) صرف یہود اور نصاریٰ پر ہے، مسلمانوں پر عُشور نہیں ہے۔
