حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ شَوْكَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَخَلَّفُ فِي الْمَسِيرِ فَيُزْجِي الضَّعِيفَ وَيُرْدِفُ وَيَدْعُو لَهُمْ .
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would stay behind during the march, urging the weak forward, giving them a ride behind him, and supplicating for them.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سفر میں پیچھے رہ جایا کرتے تھے، کمزوروں کو آہستہ آہستہ آگے بڑھاتے، (سواری پر) اپنے پیچھے بٹھاتے اور ان کے لیے دعا فرماتے تھے۔
