حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَسِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ اللَّخْمِيِّ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَزْوَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَضَيَّقَ النَّاسُ الْمَنَازِلَ وَقَطَعُوا الطَّرِيقَ فَبَعَثَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي فِي النَّاسِ أَنَّ مَنْ ضَيَّقَ مَنْزِلاً أَوْ قَطَعَ طَرِيقًا فَلاَ جِهَادَ لَهُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Sahl ibn Mu'adh ibn Anas al-Juhani narrated from his father (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: I fought alongside the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in such-and-such expedition. The people made the camping places narrow and blocked the road. The Noble the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sent a crier to announce among the people that whoever makes a camping place narrow or blocks a road, there is no jihad for him.
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاذ بن انس جہنی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ فلاں فلاں غزوہ کیا۔ لوگوں نے منزلیں تنگ کر دیں اور راستے بند کر دیے۔ نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک منادی بھیجا جس نے لوگوں میں اعلان کیا کہ جس نے منزل تنگ کی یا راستہ بند کیا تو اس کا کوئی جہاد نہیں۔
