حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ - حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَخَّصَ لِلْجُنُبِ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ أَوْ نَامَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بَيْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ وَعَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ رَجُلٌ وَقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَابْنُ عُمَرَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْجُنُبُ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ تَوَضَّأَ .
English Translation
Hadrat Ammar ibn Yasir (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) granted a concession to the one in the state of janabah that when he intends to eat, drink, or sleep, he should perform ablution. Abu Dawud states: In the chain of this tradition, there is an (additional) narrator between Yahya ibn Ya'mur and Hadrat Ammar ibn Yasir (may Allah be well pleased with them both). And Hadrat Ali ibn Abi Talib, Hadrat Ibn Umar, and Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them) said: 'When a person in janabah wishes to eat, he should perform ablution.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے جنبی شخص کو رخصت دی کہ جب وہ کھانے پینے یا سونے کا ارادہ کرے تو وضو کر لے۔ حضرت ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں: اس حدیث میں یحییٰ بن یعمر اور حضرت عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کے درمیان ایک (اور) راوی ہے۔ اور حضرت علی بن ابی طالب، حضرت ابن عمر اور حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم نے فرمایا: جنبی جب کھانے کا ارادہ کرے تو وضو کرے۔
