Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ - عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّاسُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِعَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ " أَمْسِكِ الْمَرْأَةَ عِنْدَكَ حَتَّى تَلِدَ " .
English Translation
Hadrat 'Abbas bin Sahl narrated on the authority of his father (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to Hadrat 'Asim bin 'Adi (may Allah be well pleased with him): 'Keep the woman with you until she gives birth to her child.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت سہل رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ان کے صاحبزادے عباس بن سہل کے واسطے سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حضرت عاصم بن عدی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ارشاد فرمایا: اس عورت کو بچے کی ولادت تک اپنے پاس روکے رکھو۔
