حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ الْمَعْنَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ لَمْ يَأْمُرْنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ أَنْزِلَهُ وَلَكِنْ ضَرَبْتُ قُبَّتَهُ فَنَزَلَهُ . قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ وَكَانَ عَلَى ثَقَلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ يَعْنِي فِي الأَبْطَحِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Sulayman ibn Yasar narrates that Hadrat Abu Rafi (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not command me to alight there (at al-Muhassab), but I pitched his blessed tent there, so he alighted. The narrator Musaddad added: He (Abu Rafi, may Allah be well pleased with him) was the custodian of the travel provisions of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). And the narrator Hadrat Uthman added the words: 'meaning at al-Abtah.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت سلیمان بن یسار سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابورافع رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مجھے وہاں (محصّب میں) اُترنے کا حکم نہیں دیا تھا، بلکہ میں نے وہاں آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا خیمہ نصب کیا تو آپ وہاں تشریف فرما ہو گئے۔ مسدد کی روایت میں ہے: وہ (حضرت ابورافع رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے سامانِ سفر کے محافظ تھے۔ اور حضرت عثمان کی روایت میں «يعني في الأبطح» کا اضافہ ہے (یعنی ابطح میں)۔
