حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شُغِلَ عَنْهَا لَيْلَةً فَأَخَّرَهَا حَتَّى رَقَدْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا ثُمَّ رَقَدْنَا ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا ثُمَّ رَقَدْنَا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ " لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ غَيْرَكُمْ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: One night the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was occupied (with some matter) and delayed the Isha prayer, until we dozed off in the mosque, then awoke, then dozed off again, then awoke, then dozed off again. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then came out to us and stated: 'No one besides you is waiting for the prayer at this hour.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک رات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو (کسی کام میں) مشغولیت ہوئی تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے عشاء کی نماز میں تاخیر فرمائی، یہاں تک کہ ہم مسجد میں سو گئے، پھر جاگے، پھر سو گئے، پھر جاگے، پھر سو گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے اور ارشاد فرمایا: تمہارے سوا اس وقت کوئی اور نماز کا انتظار نہیں کر رہا۔
