حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ مُطِيعِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ تَوْبَةَ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَرِبَ لَبَنًا فَلَمْ يُمَضْمِضْ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ وَصَلَّى . قَالَ زَيْدٌ دَلَّنِي شُعْبَةُ عَلَى هَذَا الشَّيْخِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) drank milk. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) neither rinsed his blessed mouth nor performed ablution (again), and offered the prayer. Hadrat Zayd (ibn al-Hubab) says: Shu'bah directed me to this shaykh (Tawbah al-Anbari).
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دودھ نوش فرمایا، پھر نہ کلی فرمائی اور نہ (دوبارہ) وضو فرمایا، اور نماز ادا فرمائی۔ زید (بن حباب) کہتے ہیں: مجھے شعبہ نے اس شیخ (توبہ عنبری) تک رہنمائی کی تھی۔
