حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، قَالَ لَمَّا فَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَكَّةَ قُلْتُ لأَلْبَسَنَّ ثِيَابِي - وَكَانَتْ دَارِي عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ - فَلأَنْظُرَنَّ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَةِ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ وَقَدِ اسْتَلَمُوا الْبَيْتَ مِنَ الْبَابِ إِلَى الْحَطِيمِ وَقَدْ وَضَعُوا خُدُودَهُمْ عَلَى الْبَيْتِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَسْطَهُمْ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdur-Rahman ibn Safwan (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: When the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) conquered the blessed city of Makkah, I said to myself: I shall put on my garments (and my house was on the way), and I shall surely watch what the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) does. So I went forth and saw that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and the noble Companions (may Allah be well pleased with them all) had already come out of the Sacred Ka'bah, and they had all embraced the Sacred House from its entrance to al-Hatim, pressing their cheeks against the Sacred House, while the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was in their midst.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن صفوان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مکہ مکرمہ فتح فرمایا تو میں نے اپنے دل میں کہا: میں کپڑے پہنوں گا (اور میرا گھر راستے میں تھا)، تو میں ضرور دیکھوں گا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کیا فرماتے ہیں۔ چنانچہ میں نکلا تو دیکھا کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور صحابۂ کرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم کعبۃ اللہ سے باہر تشریف لا چکے ہیں اور سب نے بابِ کعبہ سے حطیم تک بیت اللہ شریف کو لپٹ کر اپنے رخسار بیت اللہ سے لگا دیے ہیں، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سب کے درمیان تشریف فرما ہیں۔
