حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يُلَبِّي الْمُعْتَمِرُ حَتَّى يَسْتَلِمَ الْحَجَرَ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ وَهَمَّامٌ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَوْقُوفًا .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: The one performing Umrah should continue uttering the talbiyah until he touches the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad). Abu Dawud (upon him be mercy) said: Abd al-Malik ibn Abi Sulayman and Hammam narrated this from Ata, on the authority of Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), as a mawquf report (i.e. as the statement of the Companion himself, not attributed to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: عمرہ کرنے والا حجر اسود کا استلام کرنے تک تلبیہ پکارتا رہے۔ حضرت ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں: اسے عبدالملک بن ابی سلیمان اور ہمام نے عطاء سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے موقوفاً (صحابی کا اپنا قول) روایت کیا ہے۔
