حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، أَنَّ مِشْرَحَ بْنَ هَاعَانَ أَبَا الْمُصْعَبِ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَفِي سُورَةِ الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَانِ قَالَ " نَعَمْ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْجُدْهُمَا فَلاَ يَقْرَأْهُمَا " .
English Translation
Hadrat 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: 'I said to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): Are there two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj? He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes, and whoever does not prostrate in both of them should not recite them."'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: کیا سورۃ الحج میں دو سجدے ہیں؟ فرمایا: ہاں — اور جو ان دونوں میں سجدہ نہ کرے تو وہ انہیں نہ پڑھے۔
