Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُفَيْلٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَكُنْتَ تُجَالِسُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ كَثِيرًا فَكَانَ لاَ يَقُومُ مِنْ مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ الْغَدَاةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِذَا طَلَعَتْ قَامَ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
English Translation
Simak narrates: 'I asked Hadrat Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with him): Did you sit with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? He said: "Yes, very often. He would not leave his prayer place where he prayed the morning prayer until the sun rose. When the sun rose, he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would stand."'
Urdu Translation
سِماک فرماتے ہیں: میں نے حضرت جابر بن سمرہ (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) سے پوچھا: کیا آپ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی مجلس میں بیٹھتے تھے؟ فرمایا: ہاں بہت — آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم صبح کی نماز کی جگہ سے نہیں اٹھتے تھے یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہو جاتا — جب سورج نکل آتا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اٹھتے۔
