Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، بِهَذَا الْخَبَرِ قَالَ " وَيَعْتَزِلُ الْحُيَّضُ مُصَلَّى الْمُسْلِمِينَ " . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الثَّوْبَ . قَالَ وَحَدَّثَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ تُحَدِّثُهُ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ أُخْرَى قَالَتْ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مُوسَى فِي الثَّوْبِ .
English Translation
The same is narrated from Hadrat Umm 'Atiyyah (may Allah be well pleased with her). He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'And the menstruating women should stay away from the prayer place of the Muslims.' The garment was not mentioned in this narration. (Through another chain) from Hadrat Hafsah, from a woman, from another woman — she submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)!' — then he mentioned the meaning of the garment like the hadith of Musa.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ عطیہ (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا) سے اسی خبر کے ساتھ مروی ہے — فرمایا: حائضہ عورتیں مسلمانوں کی نمازگاہ سے الگ رہیں۔ اس میں کپڑے کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔ (دوسری سند سے) حفصہ سے، وہ ایک عورت سے، وہ دوسری عورت سے — کہ عرض کیا گیا: یا رسول اللہ! — پھر موسیٰ کی حدیث جیسا کپڑے کا مفہوم بیان کیا۔
