نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ:" تُسْتَبْرَأُ الأَمَةُ بِحَيْضَةٍ".

Ibrahim al-Nakha'i said: "The istibraa of a slave girl is completed with one menstrual period."

نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ:" إِنِ اجْتُزِئَ بِتِلْكَ الْحَيْضَةِ".

Ibrahim al-Nakha'i said: "That same menstrual period may suffice (for istibraa)."

نا هُشَيْمٌ، نا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَالشَّعْبِيِّ، أنهما كانا يقولان:" إِذَا اشْتَرَى الرَّجُلُ الأَمَةَ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى لَمْ يَقْرَبْهَا حَتَّى تَضَعَ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا".

نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ:" كَانُوا يُكْرِهُونَ الْمَمْلُوكَ عَلَى النِّكَاحِ وَيُدْخِلُونَهُ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ الْبَيْتَ، وَيُغْلِقُونَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْباب".

نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ:" يَعْزِلُ عَنِ الأَمَةِ، وَيَسْتَأْمِرُ عَنِ الْحُرَّةَ".

Ibrahim al-Nakha'i said: "He may practice withdrawal with a slave girl, but must seek permission from a free wife."

نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فِينَثْرِ السُّكَّرِ، قَالَ:" كَانَ يَأْخُذُونَهُ لِلصِّبْيَانِ".

Ibrahim al-Nakha'i was asked about scattering sugar (at weddings). He said: "They used to take it for the children."

نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،" أَنَّهُ كَرِهَهُ".

Ibrahim al-Nakha'i disliked scattering sugar at wedding celebrations.

نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَمُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُمَا قَالا:" يَجُوزُ الْبَيْعُ وَيَبْطُلُ الشَّرْطُ".

Al-Hasan al-Basri and Ibrahim al-Nakha'i both said: "The sale is valid, but the (invalid) condition is void."
