Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1018 حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ بِلَالٍ قَالَ كَانَ عِنْدِي تَمْرٌ دُونٌ فَابْتَعْتُ بِهِ مِنَ السُّوقِ تَمْرًا أَجْوَدَ مِنْهُ بِنِصْفِ كَيْلِهِ فَقَدَّمْتُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا رَأَيْتُ الْيَوْمَ تَمْرًا أَجْوَدَ مِنْ هَذَا مِنْ أَيْنَ لَكَ هَذَا يَا بِلَالُ؟» قَالَ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِمَا صَنَعْتُ قَالَ «انْطَلِقْ فَرُدَّهُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ وَخُذْ تَمْرَكَ فَبِعْهُ بِحِنْطَةٍ أَوْ شَعِيرٍ ثُمَّ اشْتَرِ بِهِ هَذَا التَّمْرَ ثُمَّ ائْتِنِي بِهِ» قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «التَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَالذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ فَمَا كَانَ مِنْ فَضْلٍ فَهُوَ رِبًا»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Bilal narrated: I had inferior dates, so I bought from the market better dates at half the measure. I presented them to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he said: "I have not seen dates better than these today. Where did you get these, O Bilal?" I told him what I had done. He said: "Go and return them to their owner, take back your dates, sell them for wheat or barley, then buy these dates with that." I did so. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Dates for dates, like for like; wheat for wheat, like for like; barley for barley, like for like; salt for salt, like for like; gold for gold, like for like, weight for weight; silver for silver, like for like, weight for weight. Whatever excess there is, it is usury."
