Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9932 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَشَهَّدُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ وَكُنَّا نَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَمَا نَحْفَظُ حُرُوفَ الْقُرْآنِ الْوَاوَاتِ وَالْأَلِفَاتِ قَالَ إِذَا جَلَسَ عَلَى وَرِكِهِ الْيُسْرَى قَالَ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ يَدْعُو إِلَهَهُ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ وَيَنْصَرِفُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say the tashahhud in prayer, and we used to memorize it from him as we would memorize the letters of the Quran - the waws and alifs. He said: When he sat on his left hip, he would say: 'All greetings, prayers, and pure words are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.' Then he would supplicate to his Lord, then give the taslim and turn away.
